Biography
As President of Avanze, Inc., Everett Hernandez brings more than
two decades of specialized experience in market research with diverse
populations. As one of only a few multicultural experts in the country,
Hernandez is sought out for speaking engagements and interviews
both nationally and internationally such as AHAA, ad:tech, Ad Age,
PBRIG, CASRO and the ARF to name a few. Committed to bringing insight
and value to the Hispanic, African-American, Asian, GLBT and Gray
(55+) markets, Hernandez leads Avanze's team, which operates as
general market and multicultural consultants who use market research
as a tool to meet clients' specific business needs.
Everett's diversity research experience includes work conducted
for Bristol Myers Squibb, AstraZeneca and Novartis; Toyota, Nissan
and Honda; AOL, MTV and People en Español; Wachovia, American Express
and Bank of America; T-Mobile and Nokia; P&G, Mission Foods and
the U.S. Army to name a few.
Prior to establishing Avanze, Everett served as Senior Vice President
& General Manager for Synovate's Diversity Practice for 3 years.
In addition to providing clients with insightful research, while
overseeing a team of market research consultants, Everett was in
charge of Synovate's semi-annual publication, U.S. Diversity Markets
Report, which provides in-depth information about these diverse
consumer markets across the U.S. The book is used by marketers interested
in reaching diverse markets and media who use it to cite relevant
statistics. In addition Hernandez was editor on the national publication
On Diversity.
Hernandez was Executive Vice President for TNS' Diversity group
for 12 years.
Everett received his degree in Mass Communications and Philosophy
from the University of San Diego.

Biography
As
Director of Client Services for Avanze, Inc. Anna Marie López brings
over a decade of experience in market research. Anna Marie leads a
group of highly talented market research analyst and project
directors. She has overseen ad-hoc and syndicated research studies
both in the US and Latin America. Areas of expertise include FMCG,
automotive, healthcare, government and entertainment.
Prior to joining Avanze, Anna Marie served as a Senior Project
Director for Synovate for close to three years. While at Synovate,
López worked with both general market and diverse market populations
including Hispanic, African American and Asian American. Prior to
working at Synovate, López was part of the TNS Market Development
multicultural team for four years. As Quantitative Services Manager
she worked on all quantitative projects, including design and
advanced solutions as well as coding and adaptation of all
quantitative projects. In addition to her quantitative expertise,
López was also involved in several qualitative ethnographic projects
and is a Burke trained moderator.
López’s research experience includes work conducted for Proctor &
Gamble, Qualcomm, Coke, Mission Foods, Kraft, T-Mobile, Nissan,
Union Bank, Warner Brothers, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, Pfizer,
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, AstraZeneca and the U.S. Army to name
a few.
Anna
Marie was born in Mexico and is fully bicultural and bilingual, she
holds a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish (with distinctions) from San
Diego State University.
